Ltl Acorn / SpyPoint IRB moved to the hog location
« on: February 04, 2012, 11:20:13 PM »
I moved the Acorn and Extender to the feeder barrel and mineral hole location today. I dumped some soybean and corn mix there too. The feeder is turned off because I'm moving it to the food plot I've been posting in the food plot post section. You can see the two deep hoof marks in the mineral hole wher porky slid in it. I haven't captured the hog on the Acorn yet so that will be a first on a MMS! Keep ya posted.

I sure hope I can catch that hog in action on the Acorn and see it live. Nothing rambled through last night.  :-\

Neat setup.  I would love to try one of the IRBs but afraid a darn bear would eat it as soon as I hung it  :o  LOL

I would love to try one of the IRBs
I used it on 12v first off and it seemed to burn the IRB's. This happened to 2 of them and SpyPoint honored the warrenty with zero issues. I operate it on 4 - D cells now and never burned since. It's actually made for 12v external power. It can be set on 50 or 100 IRB's and I use the 100 setting all the time. It really accents the Acorn 940NM lo glo because it's illumination range is only a 30' circle of light so to speak. The Acorn 5210A model is not lo glo and is red blob if I remmember correctly.

The Extender can be used on red (brake light style) or lo glo only.  :-[
