I have hacked a P41 but that didn't require any soldering.

Can you explain the hacking of the P41 that didn't require any soldering?  I am very much a novice in Home Brews.  Thank you!

There is this ribbon looking thing that I got from Snapshot Sniper that fits behind the shutter ribbon.  You just pull the ribbon out and line up the right contacts on it and tuck the other ribbon in with the camera ribbon.  It's really pretty easy.  I believe that BFoutdoors has them as well.

It's called a shutter assembly. I personally have not used one so the only help I can offer is this link..

Ok, I found the item but I still don't understand where it goes or how to position it?  Is there a visual tutorial somewhere?  What are the trail camera limitations of doing the P41 this way?

Heres the P41 hack that shows where it goes http://hagshousestore.com/PDFS/Sony%20P41%20modification%20with%20external%20power.pdf

OK, but Pastor Jim said that soldering was not necessary?    Is there a visual tutorial somewhere?  What are the trail camera limitations of doing the P41 this way, adding the shutter only?

you still have to solder to the sa strip, it's just alot easier to go to the sa strip then some of the real small pins in some cams, is what i think he's talking about.
